Filming Day
We filmed all the footage needed for the trailers in a single day, which required careful planning and preparation. To capture the footage in a more professional way, I bought a phone gyroscopic stabilizer. Keeping the camera steady helped the shots feel smoother and more controlled, which greatly improved the overall quality. This also made the editing process easier, since the transitions between shots feel more natural and less distracting.
Unfortunately, the filming had to be postponed a couple of times due to severely bad weather. Once conditions improved, we made sure to use our time efficiently. We scouted all the locations in advance and visited them beforehand to check lighting conditions and to find the best times of day with fewer people around, making filming less disruptive, which was crucial, especially for the bridge scene.
For the coffee shop scene, we spoke with the manager in advance and received permission to film inside. This allowed us to work calmly and capture a lot of strong footage without interruptions.
Overall, the preparation and planning played a big role in making the filming process run smoothly.
